IKEMBA 2027: A COMMITMENT TO DEVELOPMENT-DRIVEN REPRESENTATION
Dr. Hilary Onyishi (IKEMBA), the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Federal Constituency, has reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for development projects in Nsukka / Igbo-Eze South, if elected to the Green Chamber of the National Assembly.
Dr. Hilary Onyishi (IKEMBA), candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Federal Constituency, has reaffirmed his commitment to providing purposeful, people-centred, and development-driven representation if elected in the 2027 General Election.
A central pillar of his legislative agenda will be sustained and aggressive advocacy for the attraction and full implementation of meaningful federal development projects across Nsukka and Igbo-Eze South.
As a member of the House of Representatives, IKEMBA will prioritize the use of legislative instruments and constitutional responsibilities to promote projects that directly and measurably improve the quality of life of his constituents. This will include sponsoring and supporting motions, bills, and resolutions, as well as advocating for appropriate budgetary provisions and federal constituency projects that address the most pressing developmental needs of the people.

Advocating for the rehabilitation, reconstruction, and maintenance of strategic federal roads and other critical road networks connecting communities, markets, schools, and healthcare facilities.

Supporting the establishment, rehabilitation, and upgrading of healthcare facilities, while advocating for improved access to essential medical services in underserved communities.
*Education*
Promoting federal intervention projects that improve schools, learning facilities, technical education, and skills-development opportunities for young people.
*Water and Sanitation*
Advocating for sustainable water supply schemes, boreholes, and improved sanitation infrastructure across communities.
*Electricity and Rural Development*
Pursuing federal interventions that improve electricity supply and support rural economic development.
Dr. Hilary Onyishi (IKEMBA) holds firmly to the conviction that representation must extend beyond attendance at legislative sessions or the making of political promises.
