FORMER AIDE TO THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF ENUGU STATE, HON. C.C. OZIOKOJA OZIOKO, CONGRATULATES DR. HILARY ONYISHI (IKEMBA) ON HIS EMERGENCE AS NDC FLAG BEARER FOR NSUKKA/IGBO-EZE SOUTH FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY

Former Aide to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Hon. C.C. Oziokoja Ozioko, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Hilary Onyishi (IKEMBA) following his resounding victory at the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) primary election, which produced him as the party's flag bearer for the Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Federal Constituency ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

The primary election, held on Friday, 29th May 2026, at Saint Theresa's College Field, Nsukka, witnessed an overwhelming display of support from delegates, party stakeholders, members, and supporters across the constituency, culminating in a decisive victory for Dr. Onyishi.

In his congratulatory message, Hon. Oziokoja described the outcome of the primaries as a significant milestone in the political history of Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Federal Constituency. He noted that the overwhelming mandate given to Dr. Hilary Onyishi reflects the confidence, trust, and belief the people have in his leadership capacity, vision, integrity, and commitment to grassroots development.

According to him, the victory represents the collective aspiration of the people for effective representation, inclusive governance, sustainable development, youth empowerment, and the advancement of the constituency's interests at the national level.

Hon. Oziokoja further stated that throughout the primary election process, Dr. Hilary Onyishi distinguished himself through exemplary leadership, political maturity, humility, competence, and an unwavering dedication to public service. He added that the overwhelming endorsement received during the primaries reaffirms IKEMBA's position as the preferred choice of the people and a credible candidate capable of delivering quality representation.

He commended party executives, delegates, supporters, members of the IKEMBA BU IKE ANYI Movement, and all stakeholders whose dedication, sacrifices, and commitment contributed to the successful conduct of the primaries and the emergence of Dr. Onyishi as the party's standard-bearer.
