My beloved people of Enugu North Senatorial Zone,

I extend my deepest gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to every supporter, stakeholder, loyalist, and member of our great movement for your unwavering commitment, steadfast loyalty, and unrelenting belief in our shared vision for a better Enugu North Senatorial Zone. Your encouragement, sacrifices, prayers, and support have continued to inspire me and strengthen our collective resolve throughout this political journey.

From the very beginning, this movement has never been about personal ambition alone; it has always been about the people  the future of our communities, the empowerment of our youth, the protection of our values, and the advancement of sustainable development across Nsukka, Igbo-Eze North, Igbo-Eze South, Udenu, Uzo Uwani, and Isi-Uzo. Your faith in this mission has been the driving force behind every step we have taken.

After extensive consultations with critical political stakeholders, community leaders, members of our campaign structure, and most importantly, in alignment with the progressive political direction of our Principal and national leader, His Excellency Peter Obi, I have carefully reviewed the current realities within the political landscape. In light of the internal challenges, uncertainties, and structural issues presently affecting the ADC Party, I have reached a thoughtful and strategic decision in the best interest of our people.

Therefore, I officially announce my decampment from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the National Democratic Congress (NDC), where I shall continue this journey in full solidarity and strategic alignment with His Excellency Peter Obi and the broader movement for credible leadership, transformational governance, and people-oriented representation.

This decision is not merely political; it is a bold step toward safeguarding our collective aspiration for a stronger, more united, and more prosperous Enugu North. Our mission remains unchanged  to deliver purposeful representation, quality legislation, economic opportunities, infrastructural advancement, educational excellence, youth empowerment, and human capital development for every citizen of Enugu North Senatorial Zone.

I call on all members of the Ikemba political family, our grassroots mobilizers, women leaders, youths, elders, supporters, and the general public to immediately commence the process of E-Registration with the National Democratic Congress (NDC). This is a defining moment for us to remain united, focused, and determined as we reposition ourselves for greater political success and stronger representation.

Let us move forward together with renewed hope, courage, discipline, and determination. The journey ahead requires unity, sacrifice, and collective action. With your continued support and God’s grace, we shall build a future that reflects the dreams, dignity, and aspirations of our people.

Enugu North deserves visionary leadership. Enugu North deserves progress. Enugu North deserves IKEMBA.
