Labour Party Chieftain Chief. Barr.Eze, Frmr Aide to the Governor of Enugu State, Hon. Oziokoja Ozioko and Others Defects to APC.



The Labour Party Chieftain, Real Estate Developer and Abuja-based lawyer, Chief Barr. (Dr) Ifeanacho Eze, alongside former Technical Adviser to the immediate past Governor of Enugu State, Hon. CC. Oziokoja Ozioko, have officially defected from the Labour Party and PDP to the APC. The event took place yesterday 7th August 2025, in Edem Ani Ward, Nsukka LGA of Enugu State.

Both prominent figures from Edem Ani Ward pledged their full support to the party leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the APC at large. Chief Eze and Hon. Oziokoja committed to strengthening the party's structure in Edem Ani Ward and Nsukka LGA, vowing to attract more people, major stakeholders and encourage local residents to join the party.

The APC Chairman for Edem Ani Ward, Comrade Chibuzo Mentor, along with the party executives, expressed their profound gratitude in welcoming these two significant stakeholders into the APC. He also extended thanks to President Tinubu’s administration for appointing the first indigenous substantive Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, hailing it as a monumental achievement for the Nsukka people.
