October 1st every year marks a great day in the political history and development of Nigeria. It was on this day, the African most populous country celebrates her independence day anniversary on the first of October declared National public holidays.

It is a period of reflection on the sacrifices and unity of purpose of our founding fathers leading to the liberation of our nation from British rule in October first 1960. Within the period under review, lots of progress have been made despite several impediments on the development process. Nigeria as a country has witnessed the good, the bad and the ugly.

Our founding fathers like Dr. Nnamani Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, Ahmadu Bello systematically negotiated Nigeria's independence from Britain. They have left a lifetime legacies by securing our national freedom, and permanently engrave their names in NIGERIA POLITICAL HALL OF FAME.

As regards to the economic depression and insecurities crisis that threatened economic activities globally, our workaholic governor was proactive in arresting this ugly scourge in Enugu thereby setting precedence for others states in Nigeria. Gov. Ugwuanyi the White Lion GBURUGBURU has practically demonstrated uncommon leadership spirit of politics without bitterness.

As a leading light in the vision of project Nigeria, he has brought tremendous progress to our State by giving youths appointments in sensitive positions in the government. Under his watch, Enugu has witnessed massive developmental infrastructures like Modern hospitals, quality Education, Good roads, Electricity, Water, human rights justice, affordable housing scheme, etc.

This holds true to this line of wisdom, "To whom much is given, much is expected". Our Governor has delivered beyond expectations. for the reconsolidation of Good Governance in Enugu state, I encouraged Our People
 to Vote for Gov. Ugwuanyi for Senate Enugu North Senatorial Zone, Barr. Peter Mbah/Ossai for Governor of Enugu State, Chief. Vita Abba for Federal House of Reps Nsukka/Igboeze South Constituency, Hon. Amos Amadi Agbo and Hon. Christina Onah for Enugu State of Assembly, 
I can not stop without commending the Executive Chairman of Nsukka LGA Hon. Barr. Walter Ozioko for redefining Nsukka LG with infrastructural Developments and quality Leadership.
 We came, saw and conquered. 
Enugu is in the hands of God.
